Father Fyar to Speak at the Lenten University Series Program
Father James Fryar, FSSP will
be speaking as part of the upcoming University Series, February 18th from
7:30-9:00 p.m. at St. Paschal Baylon Parish Hall. His topic will be
Experiencing Christ's Passion more Profoundly in Every Mass. Fr. Fyar,
who says Mass in the Extraordinary Form at St. Mary Magdalen Parish, will use
St. Alfons Liguori’s mediation on how to follow Christ in His passion, death
and resurrection in order to guide us into participating more deeply in each
part of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. This simple introduction to this
devotion can make our experience of Mass profoundly deeper and more fruitful.
During the season of Lent, The University Series™ offers more than 100
seminars connecting faith with real life in areas such as current events,
contemporary moral issues, evangelization, faith and science, marriage and
family, church history, scripture, and prayer. Read more about this program, invite a friend
to join you and sign up.
