Altar Server Training

FSSP Seminarian Rev. Poirier will be providing detailed Altar Server training over three days at St. Mary Magdalen chapel.  Fr. Fryar requests all current servers to participate and also encourages those young men who have received their First Holy Communion and who are interested in becoming Servers to attend as well.

16th June - Thursday - Low Mass Focus
6:30 PM - 6:45 PM: Introductions (Coulombe)
6:45 PM - 8:15 PM: Basic of Serving, folding hands, rules of osculation, etc. (Poirier)
8:30 PM - 9:15 PM: Low Mass (Served by Poirier and Coulombe to demonstrate how Low Mass is done)

17th June - Friday - High Mass Focus
6:30 PM - 7:40 PM: Application # 1 (High Mass - General)
7:50 PM - 9:00 PM: Advance Forms of Serving (Poirier)

18th June - Saturday - High Mass Focus
10:00 AM - 11:30 AM Application #2 (High Mass - MC’s)
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM Lunch
12:30 PM - 2:00 PM Application #3 (High Mass - Thurifers)
2:30 PM - 4:00 PM Application #4 (High Mass - Acolytes)
4:30 High Mass, followed by Dinner
